Summer World Transplant Games 2027

The Summer World Transplant Games take place in July 2027, for the first time in Belgium. The STA represents the World Transplant Games Federation in Switzerland and supports the Swiss delegation.

Every two years, transplanted athletes from around 50 countries compete against each other - from athletics and swimming to petanque. The focus is not on peak performance, but on showing what becomes possible again after a transplant. The exact dates and programme for the games in Leuven will be announced by the World Transplant Games Federation.
